Jessica Joines is an experienced media specialist in her early thirties currently living in Manhattan. She took a break from the hectic NYC pace to travel throughout South East Asia for a few months, and in April volunteered for two weeks in the “caring for orphans” Volunteer Abroad in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. She has traveled widely around the world, but this was her first time volunteering abroad. Watch her interview and learn about her inspiring story working with disadvantaged children in a slum on the outskirts of Cambodia’s capital.
