Why did you decide to become a UBELONG Volunteer?
It was the last part of my study in social work and I wanted to travel. But I wanted to learn something about another culture, so I chose Mexico. I love to be around kids, so I wanted to become a UBELONG Volunteer.

What was your impact on your volunteer project?
The kids and the mothers at my project were such incredible people. It was an honor for me. The kids were so happy with having so little. I loved them so much.

What advice would you tell a future volunteer?
Just have an open-heart and feel good with doing other people well. Be authentic and not shy. You will love them.

Tell me about somebody you met who impressed you?
I met so many volunteers from all over the world. We had such a great time full of fun!
