Volunteering Abroad for University Groups

University groups that volunteer with UBELONG have the opportunity to make a lasting impact while being deeply immersed in a local community. You receive extensive support and mentorship, all at an extremely affordable cost.

What is a University Group Trip?

A university trip is a group of students, sometimes led by a professor or university department, who come together to experience what often is a “trip of a lifetime”.  It includes volunteering at a worthy local project, an educational component focusing on the region and/or culture and a weekend excursion to interesting and, often, historical sites. A university group can be organized by students or school faculty. University trips are often organized over summer or spring breaks.

How It Works

UBELONG offers university group trips in a variety of locations around the world.  From teaching English to light painting and renovation projects, there are many ways in which university groups can meet the needs of others.  Our trips can be customized to each individual group and include pre-departure preparation, lodging, meals, transportation from and to the airport, educational activities and weekend trips. We have team leaders at every location to provide safety and oversight to our projects.
