Ana Maia is a bright young professional who recently became Assistant Director for Leadership and Organization Development at Stetson University in Florida. She just graduated with a Master of Education in Counseling and College Student Personnel from the University of Maryland (UMD), College Park, where she worked as Graduate Advisor for Student Entertainment Events. Last January, she led a group of 11 UMD graduate students for two weeks on an Alternative Break trip to Cusco, Peru with UBELONG.

The group volunteered on different caregiving projects in the mornings, and they came together after lunch to paint a school.  In this video interview Ana shares her volunteer abroad experience and provides advice to future UBELONG Campus Leaders.
